One part of being a Beaver, Cub or Scout is the right to wear the uniform specific to the section to which a person belongs. If you refer to the internet, you will find that there are various options forming part of "uniform". Not all are uniform nor are they necessary. To assist parents in the obtaining the  correct items we have produced the guidance below:-

Beaver Scout Uniform

a)  Turquoise crew neck sweatshirt

b)    Group scarf

c)     Maroon woggle or one of another colour that identifies the lodge or team

d)     Navy blue activity trousers

This is to be worn to all Beaver Scout activities unless otherwise notified.

Cub Scout Uniform

a)  Dark green crew neck sweatshirt

b)  Group scarf and identifying Six woggle

c)  Navy blue activity trousers

This is to be worn to all Cub Scout activities unless otherwise notified.

Scout Uniform

a)  Teal green long sleeved shirt or blouse

b)  Group scarf and woggle

c)   Navy blue activity trousers

d)   Leather Scout belt and buckle

This is to be worn to all Scout activities unless otherwise notified.
As stated above, you will find that there are several variations on the above depending on what publication you refer to but
the above uniform provides a smart turnout with minimum cost to the individual. In addition, the trousers are wearable
throughout the group with a change required only when they are either too small or worn out.

We fully understand that footwear can be an expensive item in anybody’s wardrobe but we would ask that you ensure that your youngster wears either school shoes or dark training shoes to all meetings – crocs, plimsolls, sandals are not acceptable. Outdoor activities may require other forms of footwear such as boots/wellington boots but you will be given plenty of notice if such items are required.

All uniform items can be obtained from: -

Arksey Lane

Tuesday evenings between 6:30 and 8:30 during term time.

Saturday mornings between 10:00 and 12:00 during term time.

Trippet Lane

Monday to Saturday between 9:30 and 5:00.

You can buy uniform online or from other agencies but we would recommend that you actually visit either of these establishments as you can try on uniform items before buying them and save the inconvenience of returning unsuitable items for replacement. In addition, all

profits accrued from purchasing your uniform items from either shop are directly returned to local scouting.
